Teaching student different ways of developing an idea is important. I ha teacher try to force me to do an outline. I can't outline a paper. If I brainstorm and look at it then I can make a list. That is how I have to do it. Students may have to do things different as well. I believe in creativity and putting a personal touch to make your work yours. People are not cookies that can be cut from a mold and students need to know that it is alright to be alittle different.
That is one word to describe me, Different, as well as creative, loving, open, and loyal.

  1. Robin, I really like the statement you made "people are not cookies that can be cut from a mold", and I agree with you. All children learn differently and that is something that we have to keep in mind. There are certain techniques that may work well with some students but may not work for others.

  2. Robin, I liked how you summed it all up. Great job!! You're absolutely right in stating that "students need to know that it is alright to be a little different". We need to allow our students to be creative, just as Dr. Harris is allowing us to be. She has been awesome to have as a teacher.
